Greetings Clergy, Social Activist and
Friends Of Learn Northeast,
As we
come to a close of the year we would ask
that you consider a donation of any
size to the expansion of our outreach.
We are now I believe at a point in the
nation’s history if the social activism
of Christians does not meet the
challenge of this present day we will
never gain back the religious freedoms
that are eroding away. The vision is
what you can fulfill in your time, your
dreams you pass down to the next
generation. I believe Rev Dr. Martin
Luther King was an anointed voice of God
and he shouted "I have a dream". The
dream was that one day America would
live out its creed. "We hold these
truths to be self evident that all men
our created equal and endowed by the
creator with certain inalienable rights,
among these are life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness." I have written
an essay on this that is still posted on
our website but the point I would like
to make here is when Martin Luther King
said it was a dream he probably didn't
realize that what he saw he would have
to pass down to the next generation to
fulfill. Martin realized that on April
3rd in his famous “I have been to the
mountain top sermon" where he clearly
states that he had looked over and saw
the other side but knew he would not be
on earth with us when we got there but
anticipating his imminent death would be
in heaven. The dream would be
experienced by the next generation as he
envisioned.
I
believe we are that generation and no
matter who is in office, it is up to
us to remember the "dream" and know that
we will get to the promise land, where
America lives out its creed. We are to
be relentless in our efforts and seize
every opportunity we can to get our
message out especially in the public
square. We need to encourage one another
to use their God given gifting and
talents on a higher level of service.
With
the Jonathan Gruber revelations
we as the church and God fearing people
must demand are elected officials take
the necessary steps to right the wrongs
of the Obama administration. We all need
to go back and listen to the repeated
messages of Allan Keys who everyone
thought was over the top and radically
critical in his analysis of our present
commander and chief. You may also want

post in 2007 and know that article about
the Obama presidency I wrote then was a
tremendous understatement and at the
time I was viewed as a "hater" Well I
would just say mildly prophetic.
