January/February
2009
Our social activism was at it’s height during the months of
January and February due to the anniversary of Roe Vs Wade. We
had multiple interviews which some I might be remiss in not
reporting due to not having the stations call letters and
general info. The first to my knowledge was Changing world views
out of Sacramento California with Sharon Hughes, and then it was
off of my first trip to California for Teens For Life In San
Jose California where Ingenico Reyes is the local director and
world famous Lila Rose is the National Director. Live Action is
the undercover element of the pro-life movement and has
successfully recorded the criminal practices of Planned
Parenthood. These tapes have led to the de-funding of Planned
Parenthood in certain states. Then it was back home to Trenton,
on the steps of the state capitol to cry out for justice for the
“little ones”. Marie Tasey, New Jersey Right To Life led the
event and it was well attended and the atmosphere was charged
with inspiration to fight on. Then onto my favorite event in the
most scenic city in the United States. Walk For Life San
Francisco had it largest crowd ever. Well over 30,000 came out
to March for Life, Eva Mutean and Dolores Meehan continue to
show the world what two well meaning people of faith, without
title but deep in commitment can accomplish for the sake of life
of babies. It was an utter delight to meet Dean
Davis from Sonoma County Pro-life Santa Rosa. I got a chance to
see the heart of wine country and meet persons who are going to
be significant voices in the defense of the unborn. It was an
uplifting experience to see the combination of young and old
joined together to create a surge of change that will rescue the
perishing. While in Berkeley it is always my pleasure and such
an honor to speak at Progressive Baptist Church at the Sunday
morning Worship. Pastor Earl Stuckey is a tremendous leader
whose values and bible based teaching has created a platform for
the launching of Walter Hoye. Walter Hoye the chaplain of the
golden state warriors has become a warrior himself for the
unborn. Minister Walter Hoye along with his wife has birth
Issues For Life and his faithful stand at the local clinic in
Oakland
In sited the council to create a law just to stymie his efforts.
Walter was arrested and convicted on an unjust law and choose to
do the jail time. His courage and commitment has become a light
to all who endeavor to go into the public square and speak out
for justice and equality. I did some interviews with Kfax and
Kso while I was there in San Francisco. We did a QA at Believers
Victory Church in Almena just a couple of towns over. I shared
the platform with Karen Shablin who was also a speaker at the
march.
The Pastor of
Believers Victory Church Pastor Dion promised never again to be
a cheer leader but a participant in the game of life. I cans say
he truly has kept his word and led the charge of the social
activism while Walter Hoye was incarcerated and is developing
into be a strong advocated for children in the womb. February it
was speaking at Life Choices banquet
In Metuchen New
Jersey. Life Choice’s is looking to extend it’s African
American outreach and is doing a commendable job in a state so
contrary to its mission and existence. It was the first time I
ever saw a nun doing the electric slide! My thanks and prayers
to Life Choices and Maurine E. Scaturro.
Don’t for
forget we are on the web. Black Genocide.org,
TheUrbanProphet.org, and Obamanation.com. I am doing a 3 hour
program 7:00 am to 10:00 am est. every week day, that can be
heard locally over 97.5 FM. All our websites host links to the
program. Tell those about the broadcast whom you are trying to
win to life or recruiting them to be voices for the unborn. It
is a point of contact and a means to inform listeners of the
holocaust in America and especially in the black community.
Encourage students to listen in when able. Your contributions
are greatly appreciated. All of our donors can clearly see the
effective work LEARN Northeast has accomplished and continues to
forge ahead till the victory is won. You can make it easier with
your financial gifts we strategically look to gain more ground
daily.
