We stood in the defense of babies in the womb.
"Enter ye in at the strait gate for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many ther be which go there in."

As I beheld the masses of misguided minds that claimed their freedom while denying the same right to infants, I marveled. Never before have I been cursed and verbally abused for so long and by so many! We stood in the defense of babies in the womb and men of color stood behind signs portraying Black genocide. It was the last thing Whoopi Goldberg and company expected to see and God had it so that we were 15 feet above street level. By no mistake we were providentially positioned at Freedom Plaza on Pennsylvania Avenue (Special thanks to Terry and Operation Witness). And so proudly we hailed with bombs bursting in air, it gave proof through the night that our signs were still there! No, it wasn’t real bombs, but the obscene gestures and vulgar language made it seem like we were in a raging battle and we were to hold our banners high no matter what. Many who paraded in the streets didn’t know what they were marching for. When confronted with the reality of the horror of abortion they stepped out of the march for death and stood with the voices for life! Damon Owens, L.E.A.R.N.’s National Spokesperson, preached the longest sermon of his life (some thought he was Baptist, smile). Faithful witnesses confronted the masses with the message of life, it was an awesome day. It was not the feminist that drew us to Washington that day, but the irresponsible depraved endorsement by the N.A.A.C.P.. For the first time in their 95 year history the Executive Board gave the march of death its endorsement. How sad it is to see the moral depletion of such a prestigious and historical institution. It indeed has become so morally bankrupt that it also endorsed same sex marriage and then censored a petition from Macon, Georgia and Dayton, Ohio to discuss its pro-abortion position on the convention floor. Not only did they censor, but refused to print the resolutions! I am sure a presidential election year had nothing to do with this new position on the abortion issue. I also believe Bill Gates is broke and Calvin Klein doesn’t know what blue jeans are!

Faithful witnesses confronted the masses with the message of life.
So in July, L.E.A.R.N. once again went to confront the masses and stood outside the N.A.A.C.P. convention and lobbied delegates and handed out literature on the genocide of the Black community by the abortion industry. We handed out nearly 3,000 pieces of material into the hands of delegates wearing blue badges. We dialogued with many and we let them to know of the N.A.A.C.P.’s endorsement of abortion without caucus or consensus. Many were surprised and many did not agree with the N.A.A.C.P.’s decision. L.E.A.R.N.’s objective is to co-labor with other pro-life groups to bring the message of life to all sectors of our community. Democrats For Life held a rally at the Democratic National Convention and a contingency from L.E.A.R.N. participated. I had the pleasure to attend and be the lead off batter for the team of life. The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) did an extensive interview with me after I addressed the participants of the rally. From that interview we have received many inquiries and exhortations due to their national exposure. We are looking forward to other opportunities to assist Democrats For Life as they endeavor to challenge their party for change.

L.E.A.R.N. once again went to confront the masses and stood outside the N.A.A.C.P. Convention.
Special thanks to Kristine Day and her ongoing efforts in a most difficult task! Special thanks to those who support L.E.A.R.N. and our endeavors are expanding. As many of you know we now have a maternity home and we are always in need of ongoing support. Our social activism is complimented by our practical application and example to the body of Christ to reach out to the oppressed.

Please send your most generous offering at this time that we may yet be able to get our message on the urban airways by which many minority women and men can be educated. L.E.A.R.N. has proven to be an effective tool in the hand of God to reach the Afro-American community. Your gift will build what is necessary to bring an end to the destruction of abortion.
